About

I am a survivor of childhood torture. Each day, I put one foot in front of the other, moving forward. To do any less would spell my own destruction. My music/poetry/prose deal with the devastating effect of this kind of abuse on a human being: me. My experiences/thoughts/ideas/misconceptions are exposed here for all to see. Here. I am lain bare, naked, hidden only be the cloak of anonymity.

keep walking… it’s sad to know I’m not alone yet comforting all at the same time. I am sorry for what has happened to you yet also grateful that you have chose to walk instead of giving up.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my blog. It is nice to know I am not the only one… sad also. We didn’t ask for this burden… and others (friends, coworkers, pastors, doctors) cannot comprehend it. Take care. You do not walk alone! Keep Walking!!!

  2. I am in admiration of you, Drew. Thanks for sharing your courage.

Thanks… I decided this year to finally share it all… let it all hang out. I am on a quest to heal, as much as I can, the deep emotional wounds of my past. I am doing it for the my family’s quality of life, and my own. It has been quite a journey thus far… most of it in the dark, not knowing why I was unable to leave the house to go shopping… or why I was crushed by nothing. I’m no longer in the dark, I hope (we do not know what we do not know), and I am trying to face it all head on. We’ll see how that works. Thanks so much for your kind words.

    that is no small feat.
sadness in loss, sadness in the numbers that we are not alone.
and yet, we are not alone and your voice is ringing above the treetops, echoing in my ear.
thank you for your heart of love and your courage to Be.
