November is my main month for poetry. My output of at least one poem a day is not matched the rest of the year. In December, I return to music, and my blog returns to the norm, primarily reflections on dealing with the effects off long-term abuse on me. Thank you for your patronage and comments.   ~Drew

About ~Drew

I am a survivor of childhood torture. Each day, I put one foot in front of the other, moving forward. To do any less would spell my own destruction. My music/poetry/prose deal with the devastating effect of this kind of abuse on a human being: me. My experiences/thoughts/ideas/misconceptions are exposed here for all to see. Here. I am lain bare, naked, hidden only be the cloak of anonymity.

  1. I really enjoyed this poem and the power behind it. I would like to feature this over at Poets United as the Poem of the Week if you do not mind. It speaks of truth and life in a very convincing and oddly elegant way. I think others will enjoy reading it also. Pleas let me know if this is not ok and I will quickly remove it. You will be fully credited and the post will be linked directly back here.

Спасибо за Ваши добрые слова. Пожалуйста, простите меня, я использую программу перевода. Я уверен, грамматика будет ужасно! Я надеюсь, вы хорошо.

What say you?
