Fall trees~
With Evergreens spiced in
Against a gray backdrop
Of an impending storm~
And me, without influence,
Controlled by
The turn of the earth,

About ~Drew

I am a survivor of childhood torture. Each day, I put one foot in front of the other, moving forward. To do any less would spell my own destruction. My music/poetry/prose deal with the devastating effect of this kind of abuse on a human being: me. My experiences/thoughts/ideas/misconceptions are exposed here for all to see. Here. I am lain bare, naked, hidden only be the cloak of anonymity.

I’ve tried to fight against change, but in the end it didn’t matter how hard I tried, change is apart of life and sometimes we have no choice, even if we are damned.

I really like the flow of your poem and the message behind it. Too often we as human get so lost in the cloud of ourselves – our thoughts – that we forget about our part in the flow of nature.
