Smooth Sailing (to be read in one breath)

I am riding along smoothly like a boy on a bicycle who is riding on his own without training wheels for the first time and is so excited that he has accomplished the impossible and wants to make sure that his dad is watching so he turns round to catch a glimpse of his dad’s smiling face and in that moment veers off of the path he was riding on and tips over spilling out into the street where a passing semi-truck crushes and kills him.

About ~Drew

I am a survivor of childhood torture. Each day, I put one foot in front of the other, moving forward. To do any less would spell my own destruction. My music/poetry/prose deal with the devastating effect of this kind of abuse on a human being: me. My experiences/thoughts/ideas/misconceptions are exposed here for all to see. Here. I am lain bare, naked, hidden only be the cloak of anonymity.
